New Pool Timetable

Our very friendly competitive swimming club is based at Sheerness Pool. We are a non-profit making family club, run mainly by volunteers apart from our professional Head Coach.

Check out the blue button links to find out more about what we do!

BSS tries to be as professional as it can for the benefit of our members. The club was established in 1986 and competes at all levels from county development to National level.

We have a thriving Learn to Swim section.

BSS is increasingly active in related sports such as Aquathlons, Triathlons and Modern Pentathlons.

All of our teachers and coaches are fully DBS checked and (really) highly qualified in teaching and/or coaching swimming .

BSS always puts the interests of the swimmer FIRST!

More experienced swimmers have the opportunity to swim six days a week, in sessions varying from 1 to 2 hours. We have only a few Masters swimmers but would like to expand in this area. We have annual training camps and train at a 50m pool once per month. We hold the SwimMark Quality Assurance Mark of the ASA. We are also a member of the Medway SwimMark Network.

BSS is open to all swimmers of any age and level of ability.

Have a look through our website to learn more about us and our activities. If you're interested in our work and would like to support us, join us, or if you'd like to sponsor our club, please don't hesitate to contact us. New members are always welcome (although there is a waiting list for those wanting to learn to swim). A free trial is available for more experienced swimmers.
